Holt HR Consulting Ltd (register no.1353135) was founded in 2012 by our Managing Director, Peter Holt, LLB, PGDip, Assoc CIPD, who had previously spent over 15 years in the City of London working for international law firms as a recognised business adviser and specialist in human resources, industrial relations and employment law.
Peter is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and Employment Relations from the University of Leicester. Peter is also an unregistered (non-practising) barrister and a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. Holt HR Consulting Ltd provides Human Resources, Business and Employment Law Consultancy Services to businesses in the private and public sector, from large and international companies, to SMEs and start-ups, as well as the charity/third sector.
Holt HR Consulting has advised clients on the HR and employment aspects of major mergers and acquisitions, both in the UK and on a trans-national basis. We have particular expertise in advising on the employment and human resource implications of outsourcing, having been involved in a large number of PFI and public-private partnership transactions in the health, defence and local government sectors. Peter was recognised for his involvement in advising on the pilot scheme for the Retention of Employment Model at the Walsgrave Hospital PFI Project.
Complementary to our advisory and non-contentious experience, Holt HR Consulting Ltd has over 25 years' experience of Employment Tribunal cases involving, amongst other things, constructive, unfair and wrongful dismissal, unlawful discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancies, claims involving Working Time Regulations, wages & pay, TUPE and agency worker issues.
Additionally, Holt HR Consulting Ltd has significant experience in designing and delivering training programmes and knowledge management to entrepreneurs, HR professionals and business managers in the private, public and third sectors.
